Sometimes we feel a little wobbly, unsure, quite not fitting and unstable. We lose our footing.
I’m just going to step out, into unknown territories. According to the dictionary the meaning is: an area of land under the jurisdiction of a ruler or state. Let me clarify this territory I’m talking about. Read it again, an area, who’s area,my area under my jurisdiction and I’m the ruler of the state of mind. Considering there’s a lot of troubled state of minds, we are going to step into the right State of mind. I want to go into the mind of the one I can trust to tell me the truth by going to the Word of God. What does he say about the state of mind he wants me to have and gives me?
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you;my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts troubled, neither let them be afraid”.
Philippines 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippines 4:8 “ Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable , whatever is just , whatever is pure, whatever I Lovely, whatever is commendable if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise think about these things.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
2 Timothy 1:7 ” For God gave us a spirit not of fear,but of power and love and self-control.”
We must keep a good state of mind, a mind that God says we can have. Sometimes we have to renew our minds. Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world….but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”
Colossians 3:2 Set your minds and keep them set on what is above.”
Ok, now we see we are not in unknown areas, if we find the state of mind we are in. We are going to line it up to how God wants our minds to be renewed , safe and peaceful. Then we are not in unknown territories. Now we can move forward because you are ruler of the State of territory you go into.
